Check Nye County Inmate Status

Looking up a VINELink Nye County custody search now leads to Nevada S.A.V.E. The state service replaced the old VINE network. It tracks people held in Nevada custody or under supervision. It sends alerts after a release or transfer. It is not a booking-photo feed, a court docket, or a federal locator. Recent Nye County arrests can take time to show up there too. So search patiently. Compare possible matches, and confirm urgent custody questions with the sheriff or detention staff.

Nye County VINELink Transition

Nevada retired its old VINE/VINELink network. The Attorney General shut down legacy VINE registration on August 28, 2025, and cut off old notifications the next day. Nevada S.A.V.E. took its place. The name stands for Survivors, Advocates, Victims and Enforcement. Unlike the old tool, it is offender-based rather than incident-based.

Most existing registrations were meant to carry over. Anyone who signed up through the old VINE app was asked to register again. Stale links also linger, and the NCSO app kept a legacy-style link through the migration. For a current search, use the production Nevada S.A.V.E. site rather than an old app endpoint. The official S.A.V.E. homepage is now the statewide route.

Search Nye County Custody

S.A.V.E. takes a full name, a partial name, or an offender ID. Enter the first name first, then the last. Unsure of spelling? Type at least the first three letters of each name, separated by a space. A CAPTCHA must be passed, so work through the variants before concluding a record is absent.

  1. Open the production S.A.V.E. search.
  2. Enter first and last name in that order, or use a known offender ID.
  3. Try a supported partial-name form if the full spelling produces no match.
  4. Complete the CAPTCHA and review every plausible result.
  5. Compare name, identifier, custody status, and agency or facility clues.
  6. Call the S.A.V.E. help line or NCSO when the person or facility cannot be confirmed.

Names repeat across Nevada, so a name alone proves little. The system sometimes asks for more. Date of birth or another identifier helps then. A mismatched Nye County record can spark needless alarm. S.A.V.E. itself cautions that its data is refreshed periodically and is not an official record.

Nye County S.A.V.E. Results

The service centers on Nevada custody and supervision. It is not the full story of an arrest. Public pages allow searching by name or offender ID. The details returned can be enough to tell one person from another and track custody changes. Fields vary from result to result. The table below describes the functions the service offers without promising every row appears every time.

Result itemWhat it can tell you
Name or offender identityHelps select a possible match; confirm with other identifiers.
Offender IDDistinguishes records and helps with later support contacts.
Custody or supervision statusShows the state system’s currently reported status.
Facility or supervising agencyCan provide a route for direct confirmation where displayed.
Release or transfer eventMay trigger a registered notice when the system receives the update.
Notification recordConnects the selected person with chosen alert methods.

A result is not the arrest report. It will not carry the full charge history. There is no booking photo or court outcome either. For the record itself, turn to NCSO or the court. Once someone moves into Nevada state-prison custody, the separate Department of Corrections offender search applies. County detention and state prison are two different systems.

Register Nye County Custody Alerts

Registration can be confidential or anonymous. The sign-up screen offers email, SMS text, telephone, and TTY contact methods, plus after-hours controls from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., a security question and answer, and an advocate option. Anonymous registrants may skip both names. An email address is still required.

  1. Find and confirm the correct person before selecting registration.
  2. Choose confidential or anonymous registration as appropriate.
  3. Add an email address and the desired text, phone, or TTY route.
  4. Set any available after-hours preference.
  5. Create the requested security answer, password, or PIN controls.
  6. Save the confirmation and return to the official service to update contact details.

The registration page carries a notice that account creation is sometimes unavailable. A form that loads may not finish. For 24-hour help, call 866-393-5445. Support email is NVSave@ag.nv.gov, and replies are expected within three business days. The official S.A.V.E. registration screen shows the current choices and any service notice.

Nye County Alert Events

The old VINE system sent phone, email, and text notices for transfers, releases, and escapes. S.A.V.E. now governs those alerts. The live registration screen and help staff set what is offered today. A notification is a prompt to check. It is not proof an event happened the instant a message lands.

Keep contact details current. Save the offender ID and registration confirmation. Return through the official site if a phone number or email changes. When safety planning leans on an alert, pair the S.A.V.E. help line with a victim-service agency instead of trusting one automated message.

Alert safety: Automated custody notices can lag, fail, or change; confirm critical events with the holding agency.

Nye County Jail Participation

Nevada materials list sheriffs, local law enforcement, NDOC, DPS, and the parole board as partners in the statewide service. No public county-by-county feed list confirms every Pahrump or Tonopah detention event appears, though. S.A.V.E. also has an offline-jails area. Call the help line if a Nye County facility or person is missing.

Meanwhile, the NCSO confined-arrests endpoint points users to S.A.V.E. while the sheriff migrates its inmate-information system. That referral makes S.A.V.E. the practical statewide fallback, but it does not promise instant or complete Nye data. Pahrump detention sits at 1521 E. Siri Lane, reachable at (775) 751-7027. Tonopah detention is at 101 Radar Road, with a published line of (775) 482-7358.

Note: System participation does not prove that each fresh booking has already reached the public search.

Confirm a Fresh Nye Arrest

A fresh Nye County arrest does not show up everywhere at once. Booking involves transport, a medical screening, fingerprinting, a photograph, charge entry, and housing assignment. Each step takes time. No official Nye source promises a fixed upload delay. For a very recent arrest, call the detention center directly. You can also work through the Daily Arrest Report fallback chain.

NCSO Records handles booking and arrest paperwork at (775) 751-7011 or NCSO-PublicRecords@nyecountynv.gov. The county public-record form takes a case number, incident date, location, contact details, and attachments. Name the item you want. That could be the arrest report, booking report, declaration, or booking photograph. A S.A.V.E. result is not a substitute for those documents.

If a search or registration stalls, the official S.A.V.E. contact page is the place to get help. For county booking records, NCSO remains the source.

That channel handles service questions only; NCSO keeps the county booking records.

Nye County Search Boundaries

S.A.V.E. tracks Nevada custody and supervision, nothing more. It will not replace the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator or the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Nye County's detention center has held federal and immigration detainees before. That history does not mean every local booking carries a federal hold. Match your search to the custody authority in question.

A Nevada prison sentence puts someone in the NDOC offender search. Federal prison time means BOP. Suspected immigration custody points to ICE's locator. Someone released from Nye detention can vanish from a current-custody search even though the arrest report and court file still exist. A blank result answers none of these questions by itself.

The Nye County recent-arrests overview lays out how county records, court disposition, NDOC, and federal systems connect. Let official sources lead every step of the way.

Nye County Arrests and Innocence

Custody status only tells you where a person is held or supervised right now. A booking charge can be amended, declined, reduced, or dismissed. Release might reflect bond, time served, or a transfer, and it reveals nothing about the court result on its own.

For arraignment, filings, and final disposition, use the court itself. Nye County has clerk staff perform district-court searches. It does not open them to direct public online access. That later court record, not a S.A.V.E. status, completes the legal story.
